You would technically be correct.
And everyone should have a 1967 Morris Minor 1000 in their lives!
The interior is... not great, but usable. There’s not a ton of rust. It’s not running, but the engine turns by hand and the owner and a mechanic suspect it just needs a new starter and fresh gas. Bidding has gotten up to $950 with 6 days to go... Anyone wanna make a Minor purchase?

I used to drive by one that was street parked every morning on my commute to work. Not something you expect to see in this neck of the woods. Of course a few houses down from that one had a TR6 parked* in front of in so maybe it was just that sort of neighborhood.
* In TR6 tradition it was “parked” under a tarp and didn’t seem to be operable.

They are supposed to be one of the more useable classic cars out there, easy to work on and the parts availability is good enough to almost build a new one from scratch.

As she smirks about her “something on the side arrangement” with Morris?

Go for it, and mod it.

It is also a Minor commitment.

Those are all hilariously adorable, like a child that’s trying really hard to be mad and taken seriously, especially that last one!

One of my uncles rebuilt a half dozen or more in his suburban Melbourne garage. Two of these cars he converted himself into convertibles for use as wedding cars.
My cousin put a 22R motor into one because everyone said he could. Then he tried to go with bigger outputs and found chassis flex was real and very expensive to fix...so his dad bought it off him and restored it while he used the money to buy an Impala...
They are desperately simple things that are endearing in every way.
